Sophie

Meet Sophie. She's a miniature Daschund, but someone must have told her she's a Doberman. She weighs all of 10 pounds, but she thinks she's a big dog. She'll take on any dog, of any size, but she's afraid of cats.

Sophie has very short hair, so she gets cold really easy. She has a sporty wardrobe of sweaters and jackets to fight the chill. She also loves to cuddle with people and will jump into any available lap. She gets so excited when her people come home and her entire long body becomes an extension of her tail.

Sophie got hit by a car recently. You'd think with her size she'd have been squashed, but she basically just bounced off the back tire. She didn't even break a bone, but she had a really bad gash in her back foot. The hardest part of her recovery was trying to keep her off the foot. Even though she was in a lot of pain and her poor little leg was swollen up to about the size of her head, she still wanted to run to greet her family when they came into the room.
